There is no better feeling than knowing that you make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families every day. To know that you were part of an interdisciplinary team who helped someone once unable to speak or even stand, to go home with complete independence and spot-on pronunciation is rewarding to say the least.   I have been working at HealthSouth for over three years now. I began as a nurse technician and now as a registered nurse. HealthSouth fosters a positive and compassionate environment for its patient and employees. HealthSouth has provided an atmosphere for me to grow as an individual and develop my career as a registered nurse. They offer many incentives for employees wishing to further their education. For instance, test reimbursement for becoming a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse and then following that up with a higher salary. There is always a smiling face as you walk in the door and a helping hand when you need it. All of the staff is helpful and friendly; it is almost like one big family!
